Shah Rukh Khan is world's 4th richest actor, beats Tom Cruise and George Clooney

 Shah Rukh Khan is certainly living up to his title as the "King Of Bollywood". In a tweet published by global analytics firm, World Of Statistics, on Sunday (Jan 8), the 57-year-old actor is revealed to have a net worth of US$770mil (RM3.37bil). This makes him the fourth richest actor and the richest Asian actor in the world. He managed to beat stars like Tom Cruise, Jackie Chan and George Clooney who have a net worth of US$620mil (RM2.71bil), US$520mil (RM2.27bil) and US$500mil (RM2.19bil) respectively. According to CNBC, Khan generates income not only from movies, but also from endorsement deals with brands like Pepsi, Tag Heuer, LUX and Big Basket. He is the recipient of 15 Filmfare Awards and 17 Screen Awards. He also holds multiple state honours including the Padma Shri (the fourth highest civilian award which recognises significant contributions in arts, science or social and public affairs) by the Government Of India. -The Star

Kai Ko, a Taiwanese actor, is reportedly severely scarred following a drone mishap on production.

 According to his management, Taiwanese actor Kai Ko is healing after a drone mishap on set required 20 to 30 stitches to his face. A drone was being used to capture a close-up of the Taiwanese fantasy series Agent From Above's star when the mishap occurred on December 27, according to a spokeswoman for the production crew. According to Ko's manager to Taiwanese publication United Daily Story, which first reported the news on Monday, "a few days ago, an accident occured while filming that caused major deformation of the face and (Ko) is currently having therapy" (Jan 9). The production team's spokesman claimed that during the shoot, safety procedures were implemented. There was no drone explosion or blade cracking since the drone's blades were protected by a cover. Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh, the first Golden Globe winner from Malaysia, made history today (Jan. 11). The 60-year-old actress, an Ipoh native, won the prize for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her work in the well praised movie Everything Everywhere All At Once. She defeated Margot Robbie (Good Luck, Leo Grande), Anya Taylor-Joy (The Menu), Lesley Manville (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris), and Emma Thompson (The Menu) as nominations (Babylon). After winning a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor, Ke Huy Quan also received a prize for Everything Everywhere At Once in addition to the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy Motion Picture honour.
